5 Killer Ways to Lose Body Fat - Follow These Tips and See Your Body Transform in Front of Your Eyes

I'm sure you are fully aware that weight loss and diet is a billion dollar industry. Many of us jump on the bandwagon and purchase the newest diet pill, potion or program in the hope of losing that excess baggage. The problem being most of us become frustrated over time and end up giving up on our diet plan and end up just putting on more weight.

This article will provide you with a number of ways to lose body fat:-

1) Drink Water - you have probably heard this a million times, but do you follow the advice? Water will flush harmful toxins out of the body and can also make you feel less hungry. Before and after every meal drink a large glass of water. This should keep you full and make you less likely to pig out.

2) Allow yourself a treat day - The reason we give up on diets a lot of the time is the monotony. The same food and the same regime day in day out. I'm not surprised you are giving up over frustration. Always allow yourself one day a week, where you can eat some of your favourite foods. Not only will this give you something to look forward to and help your motivation, it helps to regulate your metabolism. You need to keep your metabolism active in order to lose body fat.

3) Don't be scared of hitting the weights - Many people wrongly believe that by doing resistance or weight training they will bulk up even more. Wrong! Remember you are not trying to train like Arnie, you are merely trying to find ways to lose excess fat. By doing simple resistance exercises like squats, deadlifts and lunges, you will fire your metabolism up and aid the fat burning process. Weight training can merely involve holding a tin of beans in each hand while carrying out your exercise routine.

4) Try and walk more - When going to work, get off the bus or train one stop early and walk the rest of the way. If you normally drive to the local shops to pick up some simple groceries, walk next time. After each meal, if you can, take a 10 minute walk. It doesn't take that much time out of your day and the benefits to you and your body are fantastic. Walking still has to be one of the best ways to lose body fat.

5) Set Achievable Goals - If you have a lot of weight or body fat to lose, it can become extremely frustrating waiting for the scales to show a significant change. Set goals, such as your first 5, 10 or 15 pounds. Or your goal could be a specific date or event. Whenever you achieve a "mini goal" reward yourself. Buy those new shoes shoes, get your hair done or go to that concert. Also don't be too harsh on yourself if you don't meet your goals. Just vow to work harder at it the following week!
